-Recent Carboot aquisitions-
Two recent finds. A Cona model IIa and
a model III.
The model III takes a standard Cona glass rod filter, whilst the model
IIa has a neck too narrow for the standard filter.
It came with a cloth filter held in place by a threaded bar with a
small wingnut at the bottom.
Both have cork gaskets instead of the later rubber seals.
There is quite a difference in size, with the
stands also being different heights.
Latest Cona "standard" model (kitchen) - 2 pt
capacity with a plastic drip stand, flat disc/spring instead of the
usual glass rod
& an unusual (to me) bottom jug:
